Frank Hernandez is an award-winning lyric baritone who has made numerous appearances in leading baritone roles for opera houses around the world. While Luciano Pavarotti once called him the “next million dollar Tenor” in the world of traditional opera, his true passion is for the music and style of Popera and classic standards of Cole Porter and Henry Mancini. Frank is currently working on new releases of timeless classics as well as original music in Nashville, Tennessee.

As a concert artist, he has appeared as Marcello in a concert opera La Boheme at the Hollywood Bowl with the LA Philharmonic conducted by John Mauceri, Cleveland Orchestra conducted by Leonard Slatkin, National Symphony conducted by Leonard Slatkin, New Jersey Symphony conducted by Zdenek Macal, the BBC London Orchestra on Radio3 in London’s Palace Theater in a Cole Porter concert conducted by John McGlinn as well as appearances with the Houston Symphony, Oregon Symphony, Syracuse Symphony, Jacksonville Symphony, Florida Philharmonic, Madison Symphony and the Spokane Symphony. In recital he has appeared at the Morgan Library in New York City in concert with heralded soprano Renee Fleming in addition to Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall with Ned Rorem and Marni Nixon.

Frank has had the honor and privilege of collaborating with many famous and esteemed artists including Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Renee Fleming, Steven Sondheim, Fredrica Von Stade, Thomas Allen, Evelyn Lear, Helen Donath, Joyce DiDonato, Kim Criswell, Ned Rorem, Marni Nixon, Marcello Giordani, Ramon Vargas, and David Miller of IL DIVO.
